Time: 4:30-7:30 PM (Golf Clinic Lessons will run from 4:30 - 6:00 PM, and the Long Drive / Putting Contest, and Social Networking will run from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM)
Location: The driving range at Callippe Golf Preserve, in Pleasanton.
Price: $50 per person (plus $3.50 processing fee) ONLY 30 SEATS AVAILABLE SO DO NOT HESITATE TO REGISTER.
Golf Clinic: Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced player, come and improve your golfing skills with two PGA professional golf coaches. Improve your ball striking, pitching and putting techniques to take your game to the next level! If you don't have your own clubs, no worries, we've got you covered! Clubs will be provided for those who need them.
Competitions: SBEC will be hosting a long drive competition at the 1st tee with both a men’s and women’s category at 6PM. A flightscope launch monitor will be used to datalog your max carry distance out of a few attempts that must land in the 1st tee fairway. Feel free to bring your own golf balls or use the range balls that will be provided, balls in the fairway will be returned at the end. SBEC will also be hosting a 3-hole putting contest at the putting green, last years winner shot an 8, so join if you think you can 3 putt, 3 putt, and 2 putt. Winners will receive prizes - see photos below to see what you could win!
Food/Drink: Enjoy complimentary refreshments during the golf clinic. Appetizers and cocktails will be provided after the clinic during the networking hour. Last year you told use to have more food, we listened and will have a displayed charcuteri of fruit, cheese, crackers and meats. There will be savory cheeseburger sliders, snacking chips, vegetarian samosas with mint chutney, and stuffed mushrooms with italian sausage. Each participant will receive 1 free drink ticket and an adult golf drink recomendation is the refreshing "transfusion" or classic "Arnold Palmer".
Platinum Sponsors: At 6PM we will have tables set up at the Patio area with the refreshments and appetizers. Please bring any leave behinds such as golf accessories to hand out during cocktail hour.
